Bailey Veterinary Clinic is seeking a forward-thinking, business-savvy Hospital Administrator to join our established 12-doctor practice. In this role, you will partner closely with medical leadership to oversee operations, drive financial performance, and support continued hospital growth while fostering a positive, collaborative culture. The ideal candidate is confident managing a P&L, implementing operational strategies, delegating effectively, and leading teams through change.
We are seeking a highly organized leader who can manage multiple priorities, mentor department leads, and enhance operations, marketing, team engagement, and community outreach. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to build accountability across teams are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Financial Leadership: Monitor hospital performance, manage budgets, oversee payroll and financial operations, and drive business growth through data-informed decisions.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient workflow, maintain regulatory compliance (OSHA, DEA, VMB), manage equipment and inventory, and implement hospital policies and procedures.
- Strategic Direction: Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute long-term goals, expand services, and support referral and business partnerships.
- Project & Facility Management: Lead day-to-day operations, scheduling, and maintenance while aligning administrative functions with overall hospital objectives.
- Client & Community Engagement: Oversee marketing strategies, resolve client concerns, enhance client experience, and foster retention and growth.
- Team Leadership: Manage and support department leads, oversee hiring and development, maintain staffing levels, and promote a positive workplace.
Schedule, benefits and compensation**:
This is a full-time, salaried position and schedule flexibility is required based on business needs.
- Compensation: $80,000-110,000 annual base salary, DOE*
- Bi-annual bonus opportunities: Based on hospital performance
- Hiring bonus package: Up to $2000 based on experience and credentials
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 based on credentials

Your Qualifications:
- 5 years of business management experience required
- Veterinary experience is highly preferred but can be developed
- CVPM or equivalent education preferred
- Proven ability to develop team members, foster accountability, and delegate effectively to support operational success and professional growth
- Demonstrated success leading and supporting teams of 50 employees in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Proficiency in budget management
- Capacity to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision.
