Experienced Tree Climber/Trimmer

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled tree climber proficient in tree trimming and big, large tree removals to join our team. ISA certification a plus. This role will be a long term position with work all winter long, and involves large contracts with a lot of residential tree care. Minimum 5 years experience with good references.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain tree health and aesthetics.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal safety and that of others on-site.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• People that get hired for tree services will also be eligible for snow removal work in the Winter when we can't perform tree services.

Qualifications

• NO CONTRACT CLIMBERS NEED APPLY.
• 7 years minimum, proven experience in tree trimming. ISA certification a plus.
• Knowledge of proper tree pruning practices.
• Large tree removal ability a must.
• Ability to work with a Crain.
• Knowledge of Bucket truck operation.
• Ability to use a Teupen Spider Lift.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday.
• Knowledge of plow truck and skid steer operation a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• A valid driver’s license will be required depending on job responsibilities. CDL a plus.
• You must not use illegal drugs!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
