Job Summary
Certified Public Accounting Firm seeking a highly motivated Paraprofessional/Bookkeeper to join our team in Branford, CT. This position has great growth potential for someone looking to embrace the use of technology and assist in developing streamlined processes.

Responsibilities include:
- Communicate with various firm clients daily to meet full charge bookkeeping needs
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Assist firm clients with setting up bookkeeping systems
- High proficiency with technology and ability to efficiently perform bookkeeping duties (i.e. linking of bank activity)
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Preparation of client quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
- Preparation of client monthly and quarterly sales tax returns
- Preparation of year end 1099 reporting
- Travel to various clients as needed
Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably with public accounting firm
- Expert in Quickbooks Online and Desktop
- Strong communication skills for client interaction
- Ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Quickbooks Certified Pro Advisor a plus
