Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Bilingual Safety Specialist based in Louisville, KY. The role involves conducting safety training sessions, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and investigating workplace accidents. The Safety Specialist will develop and implement occupational health and safety programs, identify hazards, and work collaboratively to promote a safe and healthy work environment. Additionally, bilingual communication skills will be essential to engage and support teams effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required
- Expertise in Occupational Health, Health & Safety, and Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
- Strong skills in Safety Training and Accident Investigation
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to diverse working environments
- Relevant certifications like OSHA certification or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) are an advantage
- Degree or equivalent experience in Occupational Health, Safety, or related field is preferred
- Must be elligible to work in the USA living within the Louisville KY area
- Proof of Valid driver's license, own vehicle and insurance is required
