Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to assist in project execution
- Perform manual labor tasks including heavy lifting - at least 50 lbs , digging, and material handling in accordance with safety regulations
- Implement erosion control measures to protect the environment and ensure project compliance
- Operate power tools and basic equipment safely for site preparation and maintenance
- Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
- Follow all workplace safety protocols, including OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection, climbing safety, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with the installation of construction materials, fencing, and erosion control barriers as directed
Experience
- Prior industrial construction experience or related manual labor roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction and pipeline workplace safety regulations and implementation of OSHA standards is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate power tools effectively
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions while adhering to safety guidelines
