The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for accurate tracking, counting, and management of fulfillment inventory across two warehouse locations. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual who can work independently, manage their time effectively, and maintain precise inventory records in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
WORK SCHEDULE & CONDITIONS
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Environment: Warehouse / Distribution Center
Travel: Required (between two nearby warehouse locations)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts using an RF Scanner.
• Accurately record and reconcile inventory data with strong attention to detail.
• Operate forklifts and order pickers to move and locate product within the warehouse.
• Travel between two nearby warehouse locations as required by business needs.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies to management in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized and clean work areas in accordance with warehouse 5S standards.
• Work independently to meet daily productivity goals and deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Fulfillment and Operations Managers to ensure inventory accuracy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Forklift and/or order picker certification (or ability to obtain upon hire. We will train you).
• Strong math skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience with RF Scanners or inventory management systems preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis; occasional lifting of 75 lbs. may be required.
• Must be comfortable standing for extended periods on concrete warehouse floors.
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
• Must be physically capable of operating a forklift and order picker safely.
