Role Description
This 1099 contractor position offers a flexible hybrid schedule with remote telehealth sessions and onsite days in our Tazewell, TN office. We are seeking a Tennessee licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management. The PMHNP will treat children, adolescents, and adults based on their scope of practice. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence based psychiatric care, completing insurance compliant documentation, collaborating with therapy and primary care providers, and maintaining a compassionate, patient centered approach.
Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing with a psychiatric mental health focus
- Active Tennessee licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Minimum one year of psychiatric nurse practitioner experience preferred; fully licensed new graduates welcome
- Strong skills in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management
- Experience treating a broad range of mental health conditions across the lifespan
- Commitment to evidence based psychiatric care and shared decision making
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered, empathetic care
- Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms and completing insurance-compliant documentation in an EHR
- Ability to maintain high clinical, ethical, and professional standards as an independent contractor
Compensation:
Competitive percentage-based pay structure for 1099 contractors. Final rates are determined based on experience, specialty, and licensure.
Pay: $81,297.72 - $97,906.93 per year
