What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant/Receptionist HR position at Bailey Nurseries, Inc.?
Qualified individual will support Human Resources/Safety and Main Office Staff with administrative functions.
Maintain HR reception area, including but not limited to:
- Visitors, phones, training room reservations for training, appointments, etc.
- Ensure area is neat, clean, and orderly always.
- Assist and coordinate HR events and activities.
Assist HR & Safety with:
- All recruitment efforts, on-boarding, and paperwork
- Training and documentation
- Open Enrollment
- Maintenance and administration of the applicant tracking system.
- Direct or answer phone calls
- Back-up main office area and phones as scheduled
Coordinate necessary translations from English to other necessary languages.
Enter basic data for non-exempt employees in ADP.
Maintain record keeping and organize file room in line with our recordkeeping policy or retention and disposal. Coordinate information and announcements on digital TVs throughout the location. Participate on the Wellness Committee and other Committees as needed.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working in an HR department, preferred.
- Bilingual (preferred).
- Effective communication skills, oral & written.
- PC Proficiency with MS Office products.
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Confidential and discreet when handling HR & Safety matters.
- Must have valid driver’s license and meet Bailey’s criteria for safe record.
