Responsibilities
- Provides patient care under the direct supervision of the Physician and the Registered Nurse.
- The Surgical Technologist (Certified and Non-Certified) demonstrates responsibility and accountability in selecting, assembling, testing, and operating equipment and instruments in accordance with policies and procedures.
- The Surgical Technologist is responsible and accountable in performing as a primary scrub person handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure while applying principles of sterile technique.
- The Surgical Technologist (Certified and Non-Certified) contributes to expected patient outcomes in accordance with policies, procedures, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Surgical Technologist position requires call with a 20-minute response time.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program.
- Active Basic Life Support Certification
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 1 year of Surgical Tech experience preferred
