What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Operator position at Bailey Manufacturing Co., LLC.?
Prior experience operating a metal stamping press preferred; knowledge of progressive dies and metals (steel and aluminum); basic Math skills; strong mechanical skills; ability to read and follow instructions; Must be able to lift 30 lbs. (or greater at times); must be able to stand for long periods of time
Description of Duties:
Provides problem-solving input to support stamping production; Engages press to stamp parts; Sorts stamped parts for processing; Clears metal scrap from press. Has the authority to stop production from running should he/she feels there is bad product being produced. Follow all safety policies and lock-out tagout procedures. Other duties as assigned.
