Who We're Looking For
Bailey & Galyen is looking for a Workers Comp Case Manager who is responsible for assisting an attorney in managing files, from submitting for hearings, to getting their benefits started, to getting medical records, filing documents, and carrying out any instructions from the attorney. The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, self-motivated, and proficient in Microsoft Office. Schedule hours are primarily 8a-5p, Monday – Friday. This is an entry level position.
What You'll Be Doing
Help workers who have been injured on the job. You must be able to intelligently communicate in person, via phone, via email, and phone with our clients, doctors/staff, insurance adjusters, insurance carrier attorneys, and the Texas Department of Insurance.
Primary responsibilities include the following:
- Assist Attorneys in the management of claim files
- Communicate professionally with adjusters, insurance carriers, and state officials.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service.
We are in a busy environment, and being organized is a must. Paying attention to details is a must. Being able to manage your time accurately and effectively is a must. You must be empathetic to our client’s needs, since the Work Comp system is NOT in the favor of the injured worker. We are here to help, and we specialize in excellent customer service.
