POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position: ACCOUNTING aDMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Candidate must be able to apply sound and diverse knowledge of administrative principles and practices in a broad array of accounting and administrative assignments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processes AP vendor invoices and statement reconciliations
- Resolves billing issues with consultants and vendors
- Issues monthly consultant billing authorizations, and acts as a backup for issuing work authorizations
- Collect, input, and maintain new vendor/firm information
- Distributes, and processes expense reports
- Prepares client pay applications, and submits to client for approval
- Resolves billing issues with the clients, including some collections
- Issues monthly reports
- Additional accounting & administrative duties are required
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
- Associate’s degree or higher or in the process of obtaining a degree
- Accounting, AP, AR background or education is a plus
EXPERIENCE:
- This is an entry level position and requires some office experience
- Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint (or Vision) is a plus
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Strong computer proficiency, specifically with Excel
- Good planning and organizational skills; problem solving skills; decision making skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
