Duties
- Provide clinical support
- Assist with patient intake, vital signs measurement, and initial assessments to facilitate smooth patient flow.
- Support medical documentation by accurately recording patient information in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and ensuring compliance with medical records standards.
- Aid in the management of medical supplies, equipment sterilization, and inventory control to ensure readiness for daily operations.
- Schedule patients
- Assist in check in process, verify insurance, collect copays
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical office or healthcare settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and clinical tasks.
- Knowledge of medical assisting procedures including vital signs collection, intake procedures, and medical records management.
