What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Mechanic position at Bahrman Trucking?
Bahrman Trucking is accepting applications for a Diesel Mechanic. We are looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, and works well as part of a team. No experience is required, on the job training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance activities on trucks, trailers and other equipment.
- Diagnose issues and make the necessary repairs.
- Maintain various records related to repairs and maintenance carried out.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Basic computer skills to navigate diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with general mechanics and the tools
- Requires the ability to lift heavy objects, and the ability to maneuver around the vehicles and equipment.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such a s forklifts, wheel loaders and/or skidsteer
