All hourly positions participate in our tip program. Team members at many of our high-volume locations earn an additional $3–$6 per hour in tips on top of their base wage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake fresh bagels daily, adhering strictly to established recipes and quality standards
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters safely and efficiently
• Handle food production tasks including dough mixing, shaping, boiling, baking, and packaging with precision
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace by maintaining sanitation standards and adhering to food safety regulations
• Assist with cake decorating and pastry preparation as needed to support bakery offerings
• Manage food handling processes responsibly, including proper storage, labeling, and inventory control
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers professionally and answering product-related questions

Skills

• Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation within a high-volume environment
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with pastry techniques such as cake decorating and dough shaping
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in baked goods quality
• Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently in a busy kitchen setting
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and adjusting recipes as needed
• Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Catering experience or experience working in the food industry is a plus
• Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace and supporting team collaboration
