Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of food items with precision, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Manage customer orders with enthusiasm to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment.
- Handle cash register operations & processing transactions.
- Assist with cleaning dining areas and ensuring overall sanitation of the café environment.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation & food service customer order management.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations.
- Previous quick service or fast-food restaurant experience is highly desirable but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
