- Package baked goods attractively for retail or catering purposes, maintaining presentation quality during handling.
- Assist in food preparation tasks across the kitchen, supporting overall kitchen operations and ensuring timely service.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes, improve existing products, and innovate dessert offerings.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, understanding their preferences, and accommodating special requests when possible.
Experience
- Proven pastry experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a bakery, restaurant, or catering setting.
- Strong skills in cake decorating, baking techniques, and food presentation.
- Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and other baking tools.
- Previous experience working in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable.
