Entry-Level Communications Coordinator

We are Looking For: A creative communicator who thrives in a fast paced environment. You love connecting with people, building stories and making sure every guest interaction feels genuine and memorable. You're organized and able to juggle multiple platforms and campaigns but spontaneous enough to spot opportunities for fun and engagement on the fly. You can roll up your sleeves, think on your feet, and not be afraid to dig in with energy and structure. Be a self starter who is not afraid to learn, grow and sometimes fail.
Position:
- You shape the voice of Bagel Boy-online, over the phone, and across digital platforms
- Manage Social Media, handle customer communications, maintain online reputation
- Coordinate all social media campaigns, keep recipes, and digital listings consistent across all locations.
- Manage/Create Monthly social media content calendar
- Write captions and schedule posts across all platforms
- Respond to customer comments, messages and reviews
- Assist with design layout of materials (menus, signage,flyers)
- Maintain brand consistency
- Build and send email and text message campaigns to loyal customers
- Execute push notifications during work hours to drive sales and engagement
- Track and Report on engagement, reach and campaign performance
- Help coordinate local promotions, new product launches and community events
- Recipe & Menu Coordination
- Manage Digital Menus
- Point of contact for calls and online orders & catering orders
- Identify recurring issues and communicate with operations to improve consistency
- Monitor and Support Doordash,UberEats, and Bagel Boy App.
- Post weekend Promos and handle time sensitive messages
- Keep operations smooth during Bagel Boy busiest hours
- Tools: Use Marqii (or similar) Manage and update Bagel Boy online listings across Google, Yelp, DoorDash, Uber Eats and other platforms
Qualifications: Restaurant experience helpful, 1-2 years of social media experience, new college graduate with internship experience considered, bachelors preferred, excellent writing and communication skills. Comfortable juggling multiple platforms and priorities, reliable, accountable, creative and knows how to laugh and have fun.
Experience with: Canva, Adobe, Mailchimp, Square Marketing, Marqii or Meez plus eager to learn new tools.
The hours are not conventional due to the nature of our business
Wednesday to Friday 6am-2pm in Fairhope Office
Saturday/Sunday Remote 6am-11am
Monday/Tuesday off
Rate: Hourly ($15-17) based on experience
