Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Line Cooks to join our back-of-house team as we launch our first U.S. location. This role is key to bringing our vision to life by consistently preparing high-quality, authentic Filipino dishes. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Filipino dishes according to our recipes and standards
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation for every dish served
- Set up and stock your station with necessary supplies and ingredients
- Work collaboratively with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your workstation throughout each shift
- Follow all health, safety, and food handling procedures
- Assist with prep work, inventory tracking, and kitchen cleaning as needed
- Contribute ideas for improving efficiency or enhancing menu offerings
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role
- Familiarity with Filipino cuisine is highly preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of kitchen tools, equipment, and food preparation techniques
- Ability to work under pressure and stay focused in a high-volume environment
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler certification recognized by San Diego County (or willingness to obtain before starting)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
