What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Assistant Manager in Training position at Bafang Dumpling?
Assistant Managers are all role models and help create a team of coworkers to give the best guest experience as possible. Along with monitoring day-to-day operations, Assistant Managers will assist General Managers on all duties and act on General Manager's behalf when not available.
General Responsibilities
- Assist in process to hire, manage and train associates to meet financial goals and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Assist in creating and coordinating employee schedules, while taking into account associate availability, overtime costs and expected sales volume.
- Fulfill and comply with HR requirements and general best practices.
- Maintain a high level of safety, quality, cleanliness and customer service within the store.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
- 3 years of previous food service or restaurant supervisory experience.
- Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office.
- Able to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Able to lead and motivate associates to a high level of performance.
- Working knowledge of restaurant profit & loss statement.
- Flexibility to handle critical store issues that may arise during non-standard hours (evenings, weekends, etc...)
