Legal Case Manager – Part-Time, In Person
About Us:
We are a growing Brownsville-based law firm handling personal injury across Texas. Our team is dedicated to delivering excellent client service, efficient case management, and strong results. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Case Manager to join our firm and help move cases forward from start to resolution.
Position Summary:
The Legal Case Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their case. This role involves coordinating all case activities, managing attorney calendars, ensuring deadlines are met, and maintaining consistent communication with clients, medical providers, and other parties involved. You will play a key part in keeping cases organized, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date, and supporting attorneys through each stage of litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main liaison between clients, attorneys, and external contacts.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and gather necessary documentation.
- Track case progress and ensure compliance with deadlines and court requirements.
- Assist attorneys with preparation of case summaries, correspondence, and file organization.
- Coordinate medical records, billing, and treatment summaries.
- Support case settlement preparation, including compiling documentation and communicating with clients about outstanding requirements.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the legal team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) – required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and comfortable learning new software systems.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Prior office or administrative experience required; legal experience preferred but not necessary (training will be provided).
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time | Monday–Friday | 20 hours per week | Ideally 10am - 2pm
- In person, Brownsville Area.
