Wastewater Operator

Job Description
BAE Systems, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Wastewater Operator for the Radford Army Ammunition Plant in Radford, VA. In this role, you will perform checks of pump stations, sanitary sewage pumps, industrial waste pump stations and water storage tanks; obtain outfall samples and perform chemical analysis. Successful candidate will also be able to press sludge and operate the sanitary and acid neutrilization plants. All testing and tasks shall be performed in accordance with established operating procedures, safety/environmental policies and regulatory permits.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $37.58 to $43.78 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as shift differentials or the terms outlined in an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will ultimately determine your wages.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School Diploma or GED.

MUST have a Minimum Class III Wastewater License as recognized through the State of Virginia's DPOR.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Prefer Class II Wastewater License as recognized through the State of Virginia's DPOR.
