The Tactical Solutions Strategic Business Unit delivers mission system solutions, from specialized antennas to electro-optical technologies, to the warfighter. Our systems enhance the performance of various military platforms, from aircraft and land vehicles to ships and satellites, and give warfighters the advantage they need to take action, identify targets and defend against evolving threats.

What You’ll Do:

• Support all aspects of technical product development, business capture, and technology maturation.
• Lead the development of technology strategy in the RF and EO/IR domains, develop technology roadmaps, and partner with Product Line and Business Area leadership to develop business strategy.
• Prioritize emerging technologies and will lead development of IRAD plans as well as managing investment and partnership on new and emerging capabilities in line with warfighter needs. Should be technically adept in one or more relevant areas: RF system design, EO/IR sensing, lasers, and/or electronic warfare.
• Will need to be flexible and agile with an ability to lead and guide technical teams.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.

Short-Term Incentive: Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• BS/BA in related field plus 12 years or more related experience.
• Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
• A current, active Top Secret security clearance is required with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
• Evaluation and understanding of end-customer mission needs and ability to translate into relevant capabilities/technologies.
• Experience with all phases of product development, including research, proposals, contract execution, and deployment.
• Experience in modeling & simulation and ability to incorporate outcomes into technical strategy and system designs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams through multiple phases of development lifecycle.
• Experience providing technical coaching/mentoring.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience in digital engineering is preferred.
• Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE), Model based engineering (MBE), Systems modeling language (SysML), Matlab, magic Draw, or other digital engineering tools preferred.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $173023 - $294137

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
