**Job Description**
BAE Systems is seeking an **Integration Engineer** to provide technical support for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Cross-domain Collaboration Technology (CCOLT) Program Management Office (PMO). The CCOLT team is responsible for independent testing and successful fielding of software and systems that enable secure, bi-directional cross-domain collaboration (Chat, whiteboard, etc.), VoIP, FMV and video conferencing capabilities that integrate with existing VoIP infrastructure.
The Integration Engineer will provide analysis of customer site requirements, installation support, testing, and technical evaluation of technology for the CCOLT suite of cross-domain solutions. The Integration Engineer will also be responsible for the following duties:
Assisting with troubleshooting issues and interacting with site network/Cisco/VoIP infrastructure personnel to keep the systems in operational condition.
Interacting with upper-level management in the form of briefings, presentations, and recommendations will be frequent occurrences, as will collaboration with the system development staff to troubleshoot issues and address system deficiencies.
Maintaining Cisco VOIP, Cisco routing, and Cisco Conference Scheduling equipment.
Supporting System O&M activities via Technical Support and Problem Resolution in coordination with Help Desk and PMO as requested in accordance with designated role.
Performing installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of product at customer sites, as needed.
Providing SME knowledge to V2CDS System Administrator, Cross Domain Engineer/Architect, and Customer Engagement/Outreach engineers.
Evaluating potential impacts of new security policies on existing and upcoming software baselines.
Assisting in the definition and documentation of cross domain systems and software.
Providing systems engineering expertise at program reviews and technical interchange meetings.
Candidates filling this position will be a key member supporting the mission of leading the discovery, development, and integration of affordable warfighting technologies for air, space and cyber forces.
The CCOLT Program Management Office (PMO) is located in Rome, New York; however up to 25% travel will be required.
EITS
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
BS in Computer Science or Engineer or Operations Research
Experience including VoIP, CISCO Unified Comms, DoD Risk Framework, cybersecurity, program management, management of large infrastructure projects
Experience/training in CISCO Unified Comms including infrastructure installation
Familiarity administrating RHEL 6 or later releases, encompassing the use of OS command-line environment
Good communication and customer-relations skills
DoD 8570 compliant with a minimum of CompTIA Security certification
Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
Operational Air Force experience desired
Ability to break down technical concepts into business terms
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with focus on root cause identification
Knowledge of communications technologies such as Voice over IP (VOIP), Video Teleconferencing (VTC), Cisco Unified Communication Manager (call manager), Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE), and other communication technologies (e.g. Polycom) highly desirable
Telepresence, Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA), and other communication technologies (e.g. Polycom) highly desirable
Experience with Agile Scrum/SAFe practices\#ASFS
