Job Opportunity: Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM)
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) to join our Integrated Survivability Solutions Product Line at our Merrimack, New Hampshire location. The SCPM reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain and serves as the strategic lead for program level material execution and supply chain integrations with in the Advanced Optical Systems (AOS) project area. The SCPM is accountable for developing, coordinating, and executing material strategies that align with program cost, schedule, and quality objectives. This role provides leadership across the full lifecycle of assigned programs—from proposal and capture through production and sustainment—ensuring flawless execution and compliance with internal and external requirements. As a SCPM, you'll play a critical role in developing, coordinating, and executing material strategies and supply chain objectives for our missions.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as the primary supply‑chain interface to Program Management, Engineering, and Operations, driving collaboration, visibility, and accountability across Procurement, Subcontracts, Planning, and Logistics.
- Developing and executing risk‑ and opportunity‑management plans.
- Leading Cost Account Management (CAM) activities.
- Implementing corrective‑action plans when required.
- Mentoring cross‑functional teams, fostering supplier partnerships, and driving continuous‑improvement initiatives across AOS supply‑chain operations.
- Develop, coordinate, and execute program material strategies and supply chain objectives
- Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs on a daily basis
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to drive strategy and mitigate material issues
- Monitor performance metrics and proactively address program and functional issues
- Strategically support proposals as the Supply Chain Lead, including Basis of Estimates and material costing.
- Lead continuous improvement activities, including tools and processes for the functional, program and overall product line area
- Serve as primary Supply Chain contact for the AOS program area
- Ability to work independently, as well as manage cross functional integrated program teams (IPT) on all subcontract related issues; multi-tasking is crucial for success.
- Must be able to assess, prioritize, drive issues to closure and be assertive when required.
- Exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties.
- Exhibits best practice work habits and collaborates with other subcontract team members to promote operational excellence and completeness.
- Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety, corporate responsibility, and security.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of working experience or equivalent experience
- Experience in Program Management, Subcontract Management, and/or Project Management
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment with a customer-focused approach and an aptitude for continuous improvement
- Demonstrated success in defining, developing and implementing lean manufacturing and supply chain initiatives
- Proven success developing and executing material‑program strategies, including cost, schedule, and risk management.
- Strong diplomatic, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage and report status of projects within a project management discipline
- Experience managing program material budgets and reporting using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or comparable methods.
- Strong understanding of FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, and other government acquisition policies applicable to defense contracting.
- Ability to provide strategic contributions while successfully executing on tactical projects
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building, leading through influence, and effective communication at all levels
- Experience with scope management and cost estimating, including estimate to complete/estimate at completion (ETC/EAC) processes.
- Ability to communicate with senior management regarding Supply Chain performance status (cost / schedule / resources / risk) as well as performance to financial objectives
- Experience communicating externally with both customers and suppliers
- Technical, financial and business acumen
- Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations or equivelent
- PMP, APICS, or ISAM certification
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience developing and managing Material Program Plans (MPPs) and supplier scorecards.
- Prior leadership of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and support of major program proposals.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
- Demonstrated Risk & Opportunity Management experience
- Experience with information systems such as Oracle
- Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures with associated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
- Experience and knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), demand planning, and capacity management.
- Strong organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneously
- Willingness and desire for continuous improvement.
- Earned Value Management and Lifecycle Management experience
- Experience working in complex manufacturing and engineering settings within the defense‑aerospace industry.
- Graduate degree in a related field, i.e.: JD.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
