Job Description
Supply Chain Planners are responsible for monitoring supply and demand for purchased items in Oracle ASCP/MRP, with the primary function of ensuring that all demands are properly satisfied in a timely fashion.
Key objectives for the planner are:
- Ensuring timely release of purchase requirements
- Minimizing over-ordering or excess material
- Monitoring Engineering Change activity and adjusting requirements accordingly
- Validating accuracy of demand requirements and change requests
- Transferring or and/or upgrading inventory between programs and sites as required
- Assisting Commodity Buyers with order realignment
- Coordinating with commodity teams to adjust schedule to mitigate delivery risk
- Assisting in tracking & resolution of material status
- Identifying opportunities for strategic aggregation of requirements
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years experience in related field, OR, Six (6) years relative experienceKnowledge of ERP/MRP systems, specifically supply and demand management, material transactions, and purchasing functionalities
Understanding of basic Supply Chain value stream & material process flow
Basic MS Excel Skills
Critical Thinking & Creative Problem Solving
Oracle ERP Experience
Oracle BI (or other) Reporting Experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $60076 - $102130
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
