Job Description
BAE Systems, one of the world's largest defense contractors and Fortune 500 Company, is seeking a Senior Vibration Analyst at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant in Radford, VA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for vibration data acquisition and spectrum analysis in support of the new Nitrocellulose Facility and legacy Maintenance and Manufacturing areas.
In this role you will use a Pruftechnik Vibxpert to measure and record vibrations.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically an associate's degree and 6 years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with vibration spectrum (waveform) analysis
- Experience with modern vibration analysis equipment (Pruftechnik Vibxpert and/or Scout System 1 preferred, but CSI 2130/2140 acceptable)
- Knowledge of motors, pumps, fans and rotating equipment systems and best practice maintenance approaches for equipment
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Preferred Education: Associates Degree
- Familiarity working within a chemical facility
- Knowledge of a computer maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Experience with other Predictive Maintenance methods (thermography, laser alignment, tribology, etc.)
- Self-starter with the ability to work with Maintenance, Manufacturing, Engineering and Subcontract labor
- Ability to work with Safety and Security to ensure all site procedures, policies and regulations are met
- Knowledge of Failure Analysis methods
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $69120 - $117540

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
