BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional systems engineer for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), the Sentinel weapon system.

This Systems Engineer will work with a highly skilled team developing and reviewing model-based systems engineering products; namely the engineer will be expected to develop/update interface control documents in collaboration with the Prime Contractor. The candidate is expected to work alongside product teams and engineers and be presenting data and reports to the US Air Force customer. Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field at an accredited university or college.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in systems engineering and integration, with a strong emphasis on interface management.

• Demonstrated proficiency with requirements decomposition concepts and tools.

• Demonstrated capacity to edit and review MBSE products in-situ using MBSE software like Cameo, Rhapsody, DOORS, etc.

• Familiarity with relationship traceability in digital architectures.

• Proactive person with a positive attitude and a “team player” mentality.

• Highly organized with acute attention to detail.

• Possess a willingness to learn while also sharing your current knowledge/skills.

• Proactively provides ideas/thoughts.

• Values brainstorming and changing the status quo.

• Possesses both strategic thinking skills and tactical execution skills.

• Strong communication skills.

• Must currently possess a Secret clearance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Preference is given to candidates with experience in DoD programs and increased preference with experience in ICBM programs.

• Successfully completed coursework in MBSE modeling, e.g., Delligatti SysML.

• INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certifications are highly desirable.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
