Senior Financial Analyst (Hybrid)

BAE Systems is seeking a Financial Analyst with exceptional analytical skills to join the Program Finance team. The successful candidate must possess strong financial analysis and problem solving skills, be detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage multiple ongoing tasks. The selected candidate will provide financial decision support to stakeholders while focusing on minimizing risk, and maximizing program profit by managing financial requirements and program execution.

This role will be performed in a hybrid remote format, with the individual splitting their time between our offices in Merrimack, NH, and remotely from an alternate work location. To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must either currently live within a comfortable daily commute of Merrimack, NH, or possess a willingness to relocate to the area at their own expense.

Responsibilities Include:

• Working with the contracts department for funding, billings, and other contractual items

• Creating and influencing program baselines through earned value management

• Developing and monitoring program risks and opportunities, such as cost overruns and scheduling delays

• Developing financial forecasts and deeply analyzing project estimates at completion

• Supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements both internally and externally

• Interfacing with customers

• Reporting financials to management

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related degree / equivalent experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

• Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills

• Demonstrated ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner

• Strong interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional teams

• Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast paced environment

• Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, ProPricer, and Cobra

• Experience with project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense environment

• Experience in program finance and/or other finance functional disciplines

• Understanding and knowledge industry practices and standards as well as company policies

• Experience with Earned Value Management

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $82779 - $140723

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Salary : $82,779 - $140,723
