BAE Systems is looking for a Senior Contracts Administrator with experience to support the delivery of mission critical capabilities across a diverse portfolio of government and commercial customers. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree;
- 6 or more years of directly related experience;
- Lead moderately complex and support the preparation of complex proposals, contracts, changes, and claims in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, contractual provisions and Company Policy;
- Ability to develop specialist knowledge of the product/service including manufacturing and pricing considerations and applies knowledge to enhance the Commercial/Contracts solutions;
- Support the development and maintenance of good customer relationships whether in person or remote;
- Utilize effective negotiation strategy tactics such as beginning with the end in mind, building a relationship between parties, negotiation planning, creating win/win solutions, and using problem solving strategies;
- Financial awareness and ability to contribute to the Integrated Business Planning process;
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
- Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents;
- Proficient research and presentation skills;
- Reliability and attention to detail'
- Eligible for or holds a US DoD SECRET level clearance or higher;
- FAR/DFARS knowledge and experience
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; Master's degree or Juris Doctor degree is a plus;
- Experience with government contracting, commercial contracting, intellectual property and international business;
- National Contract Management Association (NCMA) membership and Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) certifications are a plus;
- Holds a current US DoD SECRET level clearance or higher;
- Utilize IT and Cloud Services contracts systems;
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $69500 - $118200
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
