The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, supporting Combat Mission Systems is seeking a Quality Auditor (Dimensional Inspector). In this role as a QA, you will work with a coordinate measurement machine (CMM) to inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base. You'll also provide auditing support to shop floor operations.
Note: This position is on the Weekend Shift, 5:00AM to 5:30PM, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically requires high school diploma or the equivalent, and one year of related working experience.
- Must have experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.
- Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints.
- Able to support on the Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Coordinate measurement machine (CMM) experience.
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and experience.
- Weld inspection knowledge/experience.
- Faro Arm/Laser Tracker or Keyence experience.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $42436 - $67898

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
