Given our continued growth, we have immediate roles available for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Transition to Production, and Product Support team for one of our product families. In this role, you will have a chance to grow your skills as you support the continued production of one of our advanced product lines. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a great team to support cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced Military Platforms.

Activities day to day will vary and may include:
  • Leading a variety of Engineering tasks in support to various products in the program portfolio.
  • Leading and peer reviewing issue resolution for product defects
  • Driving product yield and affordability improvements
  • Providing technical support and oversight to suppliers and sub-contracts.
  • Leading and supporting transition to production of new products
  • Working in partnership with a cross functional team to ensure on time deliveries of quality products to support the War Fighter.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Mechanical Engineering degree and 14 years’ experience
  • Ability to research and apply mechanical engineering principles and theories to solve complex mechanical engineering problems.
  • Experience taking products through the design process and leading the transition to production.
  • Ability to multi-task and utilize resources on your team to solve issues in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Motivated self-starter with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively work and lead in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability
  • Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner and lead others to closure - Own the Design
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with peers, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical problems and implement solutions.
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience presenting technical information to key program stakeholders and/or customers.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Experience in packaging of electronics
  • Experience working on electronic packaged assemblies.


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
