As a Production Control Planner II, you will play a critical role in supporting production readiness, work authorization, and materials and service planning activities for our San Diego Ship Repair business. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products and supporting the execution of strategies and initiatives to meet schedule and demand requirements.
As a Production Control Planner, you will:
- Coordinate and prioritize the flow of materials in operations
- Ensure materials are available for completion of work according to schedule and demands
- Support process improvements and organizational change
- Maintain effective relationships with internal/external customers and cross-functional teams
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of related experience
- Ability to work effectively with company personnel, customers, and external suppliers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Additional experience in production planning, scheduling, and controlling
- Knowledge of shipbuilding or ship repair industry
- Experience with process improvements and organizational change
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67406 - $114590
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
