Principal Supply Chain Planner

Job Description
BAE Systems, is hiring a Principal Supply Chain Planner for our GOCO (government owned contractor operated) facilities located in both Radford, VA.
This is a fast-paced position at a growing site and we are looking for someone to hit the ground running.

Location/Travel/Schedule:

• Hybrid position requiring (3) days on-site in Radford, VA location.
• This position will require up to 10% travel.
• This role works a 9/80 schedule where you will have every other Friday off.

• Issue new manufacturing orders (MFO) as needed using BAE’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (i.e. Fourth- Shift). This includes quarterly MFOs and contract specific efforts.
• Develop new part numbers, supply bill of material (BOM) templates to VST program managers to initiate new and updated BOMs as directed by the three Value Stream Teams (VST).
• Facilitate the annual Standard review and update if needed by compiling MFOs data by part number for VST and Finance review.
• Update Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system inventory database (i.e. FourthShift).
• Run ERP system reports weekly to confirm proper movement of materials.
• Conduct quarterly warehouse inventories and resolve discrepancies.
• Audit Area Inventory Specialist’s efforts to ensure required building cycle-counts are being accurately conducted and document per BAE requirements.
• Conduct monthly inventory adjustments as needed
• Support the production area Inventory Specialists with ERP system entries and issues if needed

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree and (6) years work experience or equivalent education and work experience
• Experience in planning and materials management
• Proven Critical/Analytical thinking
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Good persuasive writing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Masters Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
• Experience in Maximo and/or Fourth Shift ERP systems
• Previous experience in a government owned contractor operated facility (GOCO)
• Raw material planning

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92180 - $156707

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
