We are looking for a Principal Engineer to support our comms and sensing business. The PE is at the front end of the business understanding and translating customer needs and requirements to technical approaches and solutions. The PE will use their understanding of US Goverment R&D organizations developmental process, our technical capabilities and our roadmaps to future products to develop high level technical appoaches and solutions. These technical approaches and solutions as well as the benfit to our future programs are handed off to the Chief Engineers and Technical Directors on a weekly basis.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field or combination of education and professional experience
- 10 years of progressive experience in the design and integration of complex hardware‑/software‑based systems for communications and sensing.
- Understanding of Contract Research and Development USG organizations and opportunties
- Understanding of University R&D capablities and collaboration opportunties.
- Proven experience capturing, documenting, and translating requirements for advanced next gen comms and sensing systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting technical information to varied audiences, including senior leadership and external customers.
- Ability to obtain and or maintain a US Government security clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience in a senior engineering leadership role (e.g., Chief Engineer, Program Lead) responsible for complex communication and sensing programs.
- Experience with working with universities on technology development and transition
- Experience with working with R&D organizations such as DARPA, IARPA, AFRL and DEVCOM Army Research Lab.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Salary : $153,377 - $260,743
