Pascagoula Alarms, PCI technician

Job Description
Successful candidate will be responsible for:
1.) Auditing, researching and correcting Combat Systems Alarms for DDG 51 new construction ships.
2.) Troubleshooting and solving Alarm discrepancies before delivery and submitting weekly reports.
3.) Test witness all alarm tests and report status/discrepancies.
4.) Conduct and report status of all Pulse Current Injection Testing performed aboard ship.
5.) Interface with ship's force.
6.) Review engineering drawing ship specifications for accuracy and report findings.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree or 3 years related US Navy or ship construction experience.
Ability and experience to thoroughly review US Navy specifications and drawings in order to troubleshoot issues.
Electrical/Electronic experience and ability to troubleshoot electrical/Electronic issues.
Ability to work aboard a new construction ship and to lift 50 lbs up and down vertical ladders.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional.



Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Knowledgeable with Adobe Acrobat Professional
Ability to communicate very technical issues relating to ship construction issues..


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $53122 - $90306
