Job Description
Work under general direction and guidance of the Department Manager/Supervisor. The Inventory Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing efficient movement and cycle counting of material from receiving to the warehouse to production. They must be familiar with a variety of the organizational concepts, practices, and procedures, as well as, a complete understanding of material planning and inventory control. In this position you will have the latitude to utilize your creativity, experience, and judgement to effectively carry out material departmental objects.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School diploma with 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment performing related work
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and mathematical skills
- Physically able to walk long distances and lift up to 35lbs.
- Experienced using Oracle Applications or related ERP System
- Proficiency in use of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with a proficiency in English
- Good planning, time management, and organization skills
- A fundamental understanding of constraints such as space, capacities, and materials movement
- Demonstrated understanding of material presentation and flow
- Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies
- Shares responsibility of self-development with immediate supervisor
- The willingness and ability to work with others
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule as required
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or strongly related field with 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment performing related work
- Experience in a company that has a lean mindset and practices continuous improvement
- Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex problems. Ensure solutions align with the organizations objectives
- Ability to prepare appropriate reports
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75254 - $127930
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
