Job Summary:
As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Material Management: Receiving, transporting, storing, and ensuring accurate inventory levels of materials within the warehouse.
- Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and conveying materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.
- Task Performance: Performing a combination of tasks under specific direction, which may include shipping and/or receiving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open containers using hand tools, count, weigh, and sample materials.
- Use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying, and recording information.
- Operate a forklift.
- Follow departmental material handling practices and procedures, as well as customer requirements, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Verify quantity and conformance of materials to stated identifications and documentation.
Technical Skills:
- Work with Oracle and other computer systems, including in-house programs and customer portals.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to meet production needs.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of relevant work experience
- Proficient Forklift Operator
- Experience in manufacturing or warehousing
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work with a team
- Availability to work overtime
- Organizational skills
- Ability to physically lift objects up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- A strong work ethic
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with Oracle or SAP
- Microsoft Office experience
- Able to work with a team
- Inventory Control Experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $38041 - $60865
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
