Janitor for heavy industry plant - 3rd shift

Job Description
BAE Systems in York, PA is seeking a 3rd Shift Janitor (10:00pm to 6:30am). In this role you will perform general cleaning in shop areas, cafeterias, emergency and sanitary stations.

• Receive instructions and work orders from Process Supervisor, Assistant Process Supervisor, Lead Person or Self-Directed Work Team
• Clean assigned areas and sweeping into containers provided
• Obtain cleaning materials from storeroom to clean and disinfect sinks, wash stands, drinking fountains, emergency eye wash stations and other sanitary facilities
• Gather scrap wood, empty boxes, dirty rags, garbage, and debris to place into containers provided and place containers in pick-up area
• Cleans and polishes floors, tables and chairs
• Washes windows as required
• Replenish towels, tissues, soaps and air freshner in restrooms as needed
• Use personal computers or other data acquisition devices (i.e. bar-code) as required
• Keeps work area safe and clean
• Other duties as assigned

This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
