As an Insulator Improver, you will:
- Install and remove insulation on ship components, including bulkheads, overheads, piping systems, and machinery
- Measure, cut, and fabricate insulation materials to reduce heat loss, prevent moisture condensation, and deaden sound
- Perform related tasks as assigned
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience: 3 years of experience in insulation work on military or commercial vessels
- Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend specifications and drawings
Knowledge of piping systems and layout patterns
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend simple instructions
- Must be able to maintain job site cleanliness
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $54558 - $57866
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
