Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Operations & Organizational Effectiveness Lead to join our HR Resource Center (HRRC). This role is critical in modernizing HR processes, reducing manual work, and driving the adoption of automated, digital employee journeys. The successful candidate will lead initiatives that streamline HR operations, reduce dependency on spreadsheets, improve self-service capabilities, and enhance the employee experience through efficient, technology‑enabled solutions.
This position will partner closely with HR stakeholders, business leaders, and technology teams to analyze current processes, design future-state workflows, and implement scalable, automated solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization and Modernization
- Analyze and identify opportunities to modernize HR processes across the HRRC, with a focus on automation, workflow redesign, and digital enablement.
- Reduce manual data handling and spreadsheet-based processes by implementing automated workflows, integrations, and standardized digital tools.
- Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to understand process pain points and develop future-state solutions using technology, analytics, and best practices.
- Design and implement improved workflows that support efficiency, accuracy, and a seamless employee experience.
- Automated Employee Journeys and Self‑Service Adoption
- Lead efforts to design and implement automated employee journeys for key HR transactions (e.g., onboarding, job changes, offboarding), partnering with technology teams to leverage workflow and self-service platforms.
- Execute a self-service strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring solutions are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with user needs.
- Drive adoption of digital self-service tools through effective change management, communication, and training.
- HR Service Delivery Excellence
- Collaborate with HRRC teams to identify and implement opportunities for improving service delivery through modernization and automation.
- Develop and manage SLAs and KPIs to monitor HR service performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure service delivery processes are standardized, documented, and optimized for scale.
- Transition of Work to Shared Services
- Lead the evaluation and transition of appropriate work to shared services groups.
- Ensure seamless handoff of processes, documentation, and responsibilities, leveraging automation where possible.
- Develop and execute change management and communication plans to support successful transitions.
- Provide training and ongoing support to impacted HR teams and stakeholders.
- Data Analysis and Insights
- Analyze operational data, performance metrics, and process outputs to inform modernization and optimization strategies.
- Deliver insights and recommendations to HR and business leaders on opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and improve service quality.
- Partner with analytics teams to expand and mature HRRC data capabilities.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience in a shared services or HR Resource Center environment.
- 7 years of experience in HR and 3 years in process improvement, optimization, or related work, preferably within HR operations.
- Proven ability to reduce manual processes and drive digital transformation, including experience implementing automated workflows or employee journeys.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to drive decisions and improvements.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience with HR service delivery models, process design, SLAs, and KPIs.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- Experience with HR technologies such as ServiceNow, PeopleSoft workflow automation platforms, and self-service tools.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or related process improvement methodologies.
- Background in change management or organizational development.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $107952 - $183518
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
