Financial Analyst

Job Description
BAE System's facility at the Holston and Radford Army Ammunition Plants is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analsys team in Kingsport, TN. As a Financial Analyst, you will be successful in your role by performing the following duties:

• Coordinate indirect budget inputs, review budget data, prepare and report actual performance and trends to management, and provide recommendations.
• Monitor indirect rate calculations, and support preparation of annual Incurred Cost Submission.
• Support Forward Pricing Rate Proposal, Incurred Cost Submission, Cost Accounting Standard, and Internal Audits as necessary.
• Report actual vs. budget data for monthly review meetings, management requests, and other ad hoc requests.
• Support Corporate data requests for historical actuals and forecast as required.
• Review Financial policies and procedures to ensure that they are up-to-date with current practices and meet all contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Complete Internal Control Self Assessments and report any findings for areas of improvement to management.
• Apply Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulation knowledge to daily assignments.
• Support efforts to maintain data integrity across the Financial Planning & Analysis function.
• Support other ad hoc projects and requests as necessary.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 2 years of financial analysis experience or equivalent experience.
Strong Analytical Skills; willingness to learn Data Analytics queries and programs
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to interface with various levels of management
Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
Organized and disciplined in work habits; ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Good communication and presentation skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience in Audit Support, Financial Controls, and Internal Controls
Data Analytics knowledge, such as SQL or PowerBI, and SharePoint
Experience within government contracting environment including Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $48953 - $83248

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
