Financial Analyst II

BAE Systems is seeking a Financial Analyst with exceptional analytic skills to join the Artillery Program Finance team. Responsibilities

• Serving as a full business partner to the program teams
• Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate program financial analysis for all programs within the assigned program area
• Handle external/internal reporting, proposal support, leading program Estimates at Complete (EACs), managing cash flow, supporting quarterly business reviews, and leading the integrated business plan for assigned programs.
• Develop relationships as a full business partner with the program teams, support the business area strategy and provide financial data and analysis for decision-making.
• Supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements both internally and externally
• Developing financial forecasts and analyzing estimates at completion
• Reporting & presenting financials to management.
• Working with the contracts department for funding, billings, and other contractual items
• Developing and monitoring program risks and opportunities
• Leading the coordination of team meetings and reviews
• Complete proposal support through pricing basis of estimates, compiling cost volumes, and preparing request for bid approvals (RBA); participating in fact-finding, statements of position, and negotiations.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field with 2 years of finance/accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel)
• Demonstrates problem solving and in-depth analytical skills.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence diverse work teams.
• Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures and procedures.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience with Hyperion planning and Smart View add-in, Oracle, ProPricer a plus.
• Experience with proposals.
• Experience with project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense environment.
• Experience in program finance and/or other finance functional disciplines.
• Understanding and knowledge industry practices and standards as well as company policies.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $60076 - $102130

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
