Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Financial & Acquisition Analyst to support a high-visibility FBI program in Quantico, VA. This role is centered on cradle-to-grave acquisition processing and invoice lifecycle management, supporting the Government Program Manager and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) to ensure compliant, timely execution of program requirements.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on federal acquisition experience, strong invoice reconciliation skills, and a working knowledge of government budget execution processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead cradle-to-grave acquisition processing activities, including requirements coordination, market research support, purchase request preparation, and acquisition documentation.
- Prepare and draft acquisition justifications and ensure all required forms and compliance documentation are accurate and complete.
- Own invoice reconciliation and processing, ensuring alignment with purchase requests, contracts, and funding authorizations.
- Coordinate directly with CORs, Finance, and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and support timely payment.
- Maintain acquisition tracking documentation and support equipment and material procurement lifecycle activities.
- Monitor and track program expenditures using Government Financial Accounting Management Systems and Excel-based tools.
- Provide funding execution status updates to the Government Program Manager and COR as required.
- Support financial inputs for Monthly Status Reports (MSR) and required reporting.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Project Management, or related field
- OR
7 years of relevant federal acquisition and/or financial operations experience in lieu of degree. - Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required at time of hire.
- Must be eligible for and willing to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- 5 years of experience supporting cradle-to-grave federal acquisition processing in a government environment.
- Experience processing purchase requests and supporting end-to-end procurement activities.
- Experience reconciling invoices against contracts and funding authorizations.
- Working knowledge of federal budget execution processes.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Experience supporting FBI programs or operating within federal law enforcement environments.
- Familiarity with FBI financial systems such as UFMS or related financial reporting tools.
- Experience working directly with Government Program Managers and CORs.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $82779 - $140723
