We're hiring an experiance Engineering Assistant V (EA5) to support our new 4th shift in the Area 5 Factory. An EA5 provides quality and/or technical support to engineers on a variety of quality and technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and proposed engineering design changes as well as qualitative and quantitative data to assure that design is effectively translated to respective process planning artifacts in support of manufacturing builds assuring quality products are effectively tested, inspected and delivered to our customers. Flexibility is key on 4th shift, so a qualified candidate will have experiance in mechanical assembly and finish work as well.
This position is a weekend shift-working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This schedule consists of 36 hours worked per week with 40 hours of pay, plus a 10% pay premium. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75998 - $121597
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Active Secret Security Clearance
- High School Diploma or GED
- 7 years work experience.
- Must be able to lift 20-30lbs.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to follow processes and written instructions.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experiance leading a mixed-model manufacturing cell
- Experience with mechanical assembly in a classified environment.
- Experiance with finish work including painting, sanding, etc
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing
