The Role: In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for creating and maintaining component data
- Work with a variety of components and materials used in GPS Products
- Provide technical leadership to Design Engineers, Purchasing, Quality & Program Managers to resolve component issues regarding obsolescence, technical changes, part shortages or failures
- Perform BOM Analysis on new designs
- Provide technical support in the resolution of complex commodity issues in a design and manufacturing environment
- Create and update documentation needed to support Program requirements
- You possess good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills (Customers, Peers, Management and Suppliers)
- You’re willing to put in the time and effort it takes to get the job done
- You are always looking for ways to do things better and faster
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Must have a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline and 2 years of direct related experience
- Knowledge of components used in the Electronics Industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work on a cross-functional team
- US Citizen
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Past experience as a Component or Application Engineer
- Experience with creating part specifications
- Familiar with industry standards (IPC, ASTM, JEDEC)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $72150 - $122655
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
