The Chemical Planner will support the following:
Understanding daily state of chemicals within NH based factories
Working with Supplier Partner HAAS to ensure Min/Max chemicals are inventoried on a weekly basis.
Analyzing overall consumption of chemicals, and work with HAAS and BAE System planners to ensure reorder point and stocking level are set at proper levels.
Consolidation and providing forecasts for critical or long lead chemicals
Escalating Urgent chemical needs to HAAS and ICA Indirect Corporate Agreements program team.
Reporting risks to senior leadership such as line down situations, and other reported chemical issues
Oversee new part additions & existing part conversions to Min/Max as a process from OOR’s
Supporting Operations and Engineering in chemical issue resolution, including second source and alternate product determination
- Training selected factory/lab champions on the tools and processes used to procure, manage and dispose of chemicals.
- Evaluate/audit process and factories for conformance, opportunities for improvement and best practices.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated Supply chain planning and material management experience
- Proficient using data analytics tools to assess, monitor, and action supply chain needs
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with critical supplier personnel
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to resolve supply chain challenges
- Strong interpersonal skills capable of influencing others
- Capable of training small groups of people
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Knowledge of chemical management practices
- Understanding of HAAS tool tcmIS
- Knowledge of BAE Culture and organizational structure
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67406 - $114590
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
