Configuration and Database Management Senior

Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a Configuration and Database Management Senior to join our team and provide support to facilitate operations on a critical infrastructure and services program. This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/modernize. The ideal candidate will be located in the National Capital Region.

Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by Q3/Q4 of 2026.

The Configuration and Database Management Senior responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leading the management of configuration items and databases within the program, ensuring that all systems and data are accurately tracked, maintained, and optimized. Defining and implements configuration management processes, maintaining configuration item records, and overseeing the configuration control processes. Manages database environments, ensuring data integrity, and implementing performance tuning and optimization strategies. Collaborates with IT and development teams to ensure that databases meet the needs of the organization, adhere to security policies, and support strategic objectives. Mentors junior team members, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelors degree and 9 years of relevant work experience or a Masters degree and 7 years of relevant work experience or a PhD/JD and 4 years of relevant work experience.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
