Do you have a Top Secret security clearance and experience building cloud native applications? Are you comfortable writing code in Java and/or React? Do you want to learn about software defined radios? We need your talent, motivation, and vision as a Principal Software Engineer in our Space Systems program area at our Merrimack, NH location.
You will join a team of engineers on a program that provides customers with scalable Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms, utilizing on-site servers and cloud resources for the processing of complex Signals Of Interest (SOIs), enabling real-time situational awareness in support of the warfighter.

Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to the software development of a full stack application with APIs, containers, relational databases, and automated build pipelines.
- Write software with Java, React, and maybe some Python in an agile environment
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified in the fielded systems
- Apply software best practices on our multi-discipline team
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- TS and ability to obtain CompTIA Security certification and pass a CI polygraph
- 6 years of software development experience, including experience with Java and React
- Experience deploying to the cloud (AWS) with best practices (staging, production, automated testing)
- Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- CI polygraph
- CompTIA's SECURITY certification
- Experience with automated build pipelines, Jenkins, Ansible, & Atlassian tools
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Podman & Kubernetes experience
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
