Mechanical/Hydraulic Press Service Mechanic

This second-shift position supports maintenance in two plants, so dependable self-transportation is required. We’re hiring an experienced manufacturing press and machine repair professional—someone with hands-on repair work on metal stamping presses, weld cells, compressors, and related equipment.

• Repair and maintain mechanical and hydraulic systems on production equipment: coil-fed stamping presses, metal fabrication tools, material handling systems, and automated lubrication equipment.
• Diagnose issues by observing, listening, and inspecting; dismantle machinery as needed to reach root causes.
• Measure components to determine wear or misalignment; replace worn parts within drive and hydraulic assemblies.
• Realign and adjust spindles, clutches, and other critical mechanisms.
• Identify damaged air and hydraulic lines; cut, thread, and install new piping.
• Start up and test equipment post-repair to confirm proper function.
• Fabricate/repair parts using a lathe, drill press, and grinder.
• Modify computer-controlled motion in automation to correct cycle performance.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Direct experience as a manufacturing press and machine repair technician.
• Demonstrated capability with metal stamping and forming (progressive die).
• Strong mechanical, equipment, and general troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on exposure to weld cells and compressors.
